12th September 2023 - Opening of the new MAGPAS headquarters, Alconbury

HRH The Princess Royal declared the new charity airbase open.

Magpas Air Ambulance is an emergency medical charity that provides pre-hospital emergency care, in the air or on land, including treatments normally only available in hospitals.

The lifesaving charity has been working to build its new home for the past six years. The new HQ, delivered by Lindum Group, will be a purpose-built airbase, headquarters, and training centre in Alconbury Weald, Cambridgeshire. The building includes a dedicated state-of-the-art training centre to train the next generation of pre-hospital emergency doctors and paramedics. It is equipped for 24/7 operations with well-being and rest facilities for crew and clinicians.
