20th April 2023 - British Empire Medal Investiture

At the Great St Mary’s University Church Cambridge, I witnessed the Investure of the British Empire Medals presented by HM Lord Lieutenant Julie Spence, on behalf of the King, to six recipients for their outstanding work in the Community. Some of their work was over many years while others during the pandemic lockdown. The ages of the recipients ranged from early 20s to late 80s!

Newly appointed Deputy Lieutenants were also invested following the presentation of the B.E.M. awards.
